MSP Student Massage Clinic Policy Agreement

Before your service:

- No perfumes, scents, etc.; good personal hygiene.
- Do not be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
- Turn cell phones off; it a call must be taken/made, step outside of the clinic.
- Client takes responsibility for personal belongings.
- Control of pressure is up to the client, clients may ask for less pressure.
- Must fill out intake forms and evaluations.
- Please state all necessary medical conditions to your massage therapist prior to your massage.

About your service:

- Massages offered at MSP are for therapeutic purposes only.  Therefore, any sexually explicit behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session for which no refund will be given.  Furthermore, we will no longer allow you to be a client of the MSP Clinic.
- The student therapist does not diagnose illness, disease, or other physical or mental disorders; we do not prescribe medical or pharmaceutical treatment; and we do not do any spinal manipulations.  This massage is not a substitute for medical care by licensed health care providers.
- Massage therapists are assigned randomly by the Clinic Supervisor and there are no special requests for a massage therapist (gender, size, age, race, etc.) will be accommodated.  Sorry, no exceptions.
- Any client under 18 years old is required to have a parent/guardian sign a “Consent to treat a minor” form.

About your appointment:

- A $20 charge will be assessed without a 24 hour notice prior to any appointment change.
- Each appointment is held with a credit card.  Your credit card will not be charged if clinic policy is upheld.
- No shows will be charged 100% responsible for their missed appointment.
- A confirmation call or email from MSP is solely a courtesy.  The client is responsible for keeping the appointment with or without a confirmation call.
- This is a learning clinic, and a teacher or other student may enter the treatment room to observe your Student Therapist at work.
- The clinic is an MSP class, and student absences may occur which may cause your session to be cancelled.  MSP will do everything we can to accommodate your appointment.  If that happens, you will be given a complimentary Hand Paraffin Treatment on your next visit.
- Massage sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if you arrive late.
- You will pay full price even if you are late, and your session may be cancelled if you are more than 10 minutes late.
